About the Company: NBS is a growing private firm that provides specialized public finance consulting and services to local government agencies (cities, school districts, etc.) throughout California. The Opportunity :
Provides technical support for our D-FAST software product within a fast moving, challenging environment in the following areas : (shown with estimated percentages of time)
• (50%) Technical Support : Provides basic support to D-FAST software clients. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
• (40%) Quality Assurance & Documentation: Manages, reports and documents all D-FAST trouble tickets through Test-Track. Tests all code changes and new features. Follows testing protocols and documents all errors found. Plans, writes and maintains user support documentation efforts, including online help screen. Translates business specifications into user documentation.
• (10%) Installation, Data Conversion and Training: Supports with installation of software for new D-FAST software clients. Assists with conversion of legacy data into software. Audits conversion results to ensure accuracy. Conducts software training for clients.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
• Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to articulate findings
• Highly organized with quality PC skills
• Previous work experience in data conversion preferred
• Knowledge of SQL, Seagate Crystal Reports, Access, and Excel preferred
• MSCE Certification in Windows 200/2003 preferred
Hours:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon-Fri in the Temecula office, with potential for earlier hours to support East Coast clients. Some overtime hours will be necessary throughout the year.

In addition to the benefits shown above, NBS offers a comfortable office and relaxed work environment with periodic off-site fun events. Due to the nature of our business, NBS does generally limit the use of vacation time to three days per employee during our busiest season of June 15th through August 31st. In contrast, NBS highly encourages employees to consider taking vacation around Holidays. We have found our dress code of Business Casual to be a very appreciated benefit by all employees.
