The annual CSMFO (California Society of Municipal Finance Officers) was held in March under a Disney- related theme, “A Finance Life for Me.” Over 1,300 professionals—a record attendance—learned about important municipal topics, including: water rates and finance (the panel included Greg Clumpner from NBS), pension obligations, investments, assessing fiscal health, and detecting fraud.
But it wasn’t all work! Networking and fun transformed the four-day event into the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
