Neighbors, property owners, business folks and staff celebrated the approval of the renewal of the Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District, a Property and Business Improvement District (PBID) in San Francisco. It took a couple of years to get to this successful outcome, given many competing factors and lengthy community engagement. The NBS team was deeply involved in the renewal effort (and helped form the original CBD back in 2010), from community outreach to the final assessment engineering. With this 15 year renewal, the CBD will continue to provide vital services to this unique area in the southern part of the City by the Bay.
